Need to transfer a ticket/multiple tickets/ice/parking pass/etc. between an Original Ticket Buyer and a New Ticket Buyer? Well, here’s the instructions to do so…and the tiny print.
Ticket Transfers Between Known/Trusted Individuals
When anyone buys a ticket to Summerisle, they receive an email with a link at the bottom of it to go back to their original order (see green square in Photo #1 below for how it looks). For any and all ticket/ice/parking pass transfers: the Original Ticket Buyer needs to go back to the order and edit all tickets to be reassigned to whatever full legal name the New Ticket Buyer gives to them (see Photo #2 and #3 below for how this looks across different tickets).
The Catch: The tickets and ice WILL still be in Original Ticket Buyer’s “possession” even after name reassignment (meaning Original Ticket Buyer email will be the order’s email and they will always be able to return to and view/edit the names on all tickets, even after this reassignment). The only information that cannot be edited in the original ticket order is the Original Ticket Buyer’s email. If these transfers are between trusted friends and family, this shouldn’t be an issue.

Ticket Resales Between Strangers
How does a buyer resell their ticket?
Original ticket buyers can list their tickets for resale via the manage order button found on their confirmation email.
Resale will appear as an additional tab.
Sellers can select sell tickets and select all the tickets they would like to resell. Sellers can choose to list their tickets:
- Privately – accessible only via a unique link (for example: you connected with someone on social media whose ticket you are going to purchase from them)
- Privately and Publicly – accessible via a unique link AND on the public resale page
Sellers can choose to toggle list resale publicly
Private Resale
If a seller chooses to resell their ticket privately to another person, they can toggle OFF list resale publicly. They will need to select copy link and share it with their buyer directly.
This ticket can only be purchased through the unique link.
Public Resale
If a seller chooses to resell their ticket publicly, they will still have access to the unique link, but their ticket will also be available on a standalone public resale event page that is automatically created.
All available resale tickets will appear here automatically.
The availability of resale tickets will be advertised on the ticketing page of the event.
Why is creating a resale via Humanitix a good idea?
Humanitix’s resale is a way that handles the money exchange for the transaction and ensures that only legitimate ticket holders can resell tickets. Here’s how the resale system works:
- Original ticket holder purchases their ticket on Humanitix
- They list their ticket for resale via a unique link or public resale page
- When a ticket is resold to a new buyer, the original order is refunded, and the ticket is cancelled
- A new order and ticket are created for the buyer
Sellers can only list a ticket at 100% of the face value of the ticket
What Tickets can be resold?
Any ticket that is normally available for resale:
- General Parking Pass
- Golden Apple Ticket
- Early Apple Ticket
- Tier 1 Ticket
- Final Tier Ticket
- Ice, 7lb Bag
What other kinds of tickets will not be used?
Please contact Lord Summerisle summerisleburn@gmail.com ASAP. This way, your ticket can be reissued, and someone else waiting for an RV Pass, Sunshine, BIPOC, or other special ticket can be issued one.
All other ticket types are not transferable or refundable otherwise and would go unused.
Can I resell a ticket if I wasn’t the purchaser?
Only the person who bought a ticket can resell it. If your Humanitix ticket was purchased on your behalf by another person, they will need to list your ticket for public resale or generate a private resale link for you.
You can send them the following instructions:
- Search for your order confirmation email sent to your email address.
- Click the manage order button
- Select the resale tab and choose sell tickets
- Select the ticket you want to resell
- List the ticket for public resale, or, generate a private link and share this unique link
Can a resale be cancelled or undone?
Tickets that have been listed for resale, but not resold, can be removed. Sellers can action this via the manage order > resale tab and clicking stop resale next to each ticket.
However, all successful resales are final. The original ticket is cancelled and refunded. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
If you have further questions or concerns about tickets, please email us at summerisleburn@gmail.com.
